The Ontario Tax Credit for Manufacturing and Processing (OMMITC) is a refundable corporate income tax credit available to Canadian-controlled private corporations (CCPCs) that make eligible capital investments in buildings, machinery, and equipment used for manufacturing or processing in Ontario. The credit applies to qualifying investments of up to $20 million per tax year, and was temporarily enhanced from 10% to 15% for eligible expenditures made between May 15, 2025 and January 1, 2030, increasing the maximum annual credit to $3 million. BDO Canada A non-refundable expanded version of the credit at 15% was also introduced for corporations that are not CCPCs, extending eligibility to foreign-owned corporations and publicly traded companies with a permanent establishment in Ontario.
