The program assists businesses, self-employed individuals, and non-profit organizations in offsetting operational costs incurred when an employee is deployed on active military reserve service. Eligible employers receive weekly grant payments up to $1,200 CAD to cover temporary replacement hiring, overtime, and productivity losses during military leave.
