The Ministry of the Environment, Climate Change, Wildlife and Parks provides non-repayable financial assistance through the Bioenergy Transition program to support greenhouse gas reduction in Quebec. The program assists commercial businesses, agricultural enterprises, and institutions in converting fossil fuel heating systems to residual forest biomass and renewable natural gas. Eligible Quebec entities receive grant contributions covering up to $250,000 CAD per decarbonization project.
