The Aboriginal Entrepreneurship Program (AEP) provides access to capital and business opportunities for Indigenous entrepreneurs and business owners in Canada. This program is delivered through a network of Indigenous Financial Institutions (IFIs) and Métis Capital Corporations (MCCs) to promote and increase the number of viable Indigenous-owned businesses. It offers non-repayable equity contributions and business services to support businesses in starting up, expanding, or acquiring another business. Funding is available for both individual entrepreneurs and community-owned business projects.
